The steppe lake in the east of Austria is a limitless playground for kitesurfing, windsurfing and foiling. With a long tradition of sailing and surfing, Neusiedler See has developed Olympic champions like Christoph Sieber (Windsurfing), Hans Peter Steinacher, Roman Hagara (Tornado), Tanja Frank and Thomas Zajac (Nacra 17). The open landscape surrounding the lake opens the mind to think in bigger scales. On more than 70 percent of all windy days, you will find onshore conditions offering great possibilities to practice and improve your skills. Podersdorf is well known for its spectacular sunsets after a great day of fun and wind to hang out with your best buddies. The city of Vienna is only 30 minutes away, so close enough to spice up your surfing trip with a little bit of culture and some big-city vibes.
On windy days, the North-North Beach can get quite crowded. To ensure a smooth operation and the safety of all water sports enthusiasts, there is a list of rules that everyone must follow. Please read the guidelines before your visit to the lake or come to our reception. We will be happy to explain everything to you.
